We have 14 schools: Anaheim, Cypress, Fairmont, John F. Kennedy, Katella, Loara, Los Alamitos, Magnolia, Oxford Academy, Rosary, Savanna, Servite, Western, and Whitney
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. Our members help shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, mentor the disadvantaged and care for the sick. We develop youth as leaders, build playgrounds, raise funds for pediatric research and more. Working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone.
CNH District California-Nevada-Hawaii District (Cal-Nev-Ha). The district that Division 30 South is apart of, which includes Key Clubs from the states California, Nevada, and Hawaii. A district is a collection of several regions. A region is a collection of several divisions. DCON District convention. Refer to the question “What is DCON” for further information.
DCM Division Council Meeting. It is held every month for Division 30 South. DCMs include breakdowns of the month and various events that happened. There are announcements and information that are essential for the different schools in the division. Also, there will be a time for recognition where a member, officer, secretary, and club are recognized for their excellence in that month. We usually have a division service event along with the DCM to get members involved with the division.

ICON

IP
Immediate Past. Used to refer to the person who held that position the term before.
KC
Key Club. Key Club is a high school student-led organization dedicated to community service and volunteering where members get to serve in their community and learn to be leaders.
LTG
Lieutenant Governor. Our current LTG is Vivian Bui, and she is in charge of the division. She does numerous tasks which include supporting clubs in the division, assisting members, and also holding division meetings. This position is very important because it forms a connection between the division and the district.
MEP
Major Emphasis Project. All Key Clubs in the world are given a focus for their projects, which is the Major Emphasis Project. The current MEP is "Children: Their Future, Our Focus" which includes serving children in hands-on-service projects.
MRF
Monthly Report Form. A monthly report of a school Key Club"s status and performance for the month.
ORF
Officer Report Form. Each officer is required to fill out the Officer Report Form every month. The ORF contains a series of questions which the officers answer to convey their opinions and thoughts based on the club"s performance for the month.
RTC
Region Training Conference. Refer to the question “What is RTC?” for further information.
Due to the District's massive size, two Fall Rallies are held each year; one in Northern California at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, one in Southern California at Six Flags Magic Mountain. Thousands of members gather at each of the two theme parks on their selected day, one in October, one in November. At Fall Rally North and South, LTGs and Executive officers are "auctioned" off to Divisions; the winning Division is able to then spend a designated period of time with the "purchased" officer. Auction funds and a portion of the ticket sales for both events go towards the Pediatric Trauma Program. Members celebrate by having spirit battles and wearing their division spirit.
DCON stands for District Convention held every year to bring together members of Key Club International from the different regions to celebrate the end fo the term as a whole district. DCON is full of informational workshops with tips on improving yourself as an officer and a leader. Each year DCON is held at a different location, usually alternating between Scaramento, Anaheim, and for the first time ever for DCON 2018. Reno, Nevada.
ICON stands for International Convention and it is the largest and arguably most important event on the Key Club International calendar. Key Club members from around the globe will gather at ICON to discuss everything Key Club, elect a new Key Club International Board, and educate themselves on how best to improve themselves and their homes, schools, and communities.
The original concept was to develop a vocational guidance program aimed to combat the problems of a student fraternity. The idea evolved into the formation of a youth service organization for the home, school and community.
The first Key Club met at Sacramento High School in California in 1925.
In 1925, California State Commissioner of Schools Albert C. Olney and vocational education teacher Frank C. Vincent worked to establish the first Key Club at Sacramento High School in California. This club was comprised of the key boys in the school, willing to serve the school in any way possible and to create better school spirit. Thus, the club was dubbed Key Club.
UNICEF, March of Dimes and Children’s Miracle Network are all preferred charities. Key Club members provide fundraising support for each of these groups.
